Jeff Jaques, sales manager, Vanderfield, Toowoomba, received good solid inquiry for the Polaris four-wheeler, 2WD bikes, and made sales on site at the Heritage Ag Show.
“There is a good degree of optimism at the Vanderfield stand, and we are looking at this to translate into future business,” Jeff said.
Allan Delaforce, Area Sales Manager, McCormick Tractors, Victoria, was delighted with the excellent results achieved at the Heritage Ag Show.
“We have sold four tractors, of which three have a price tag of $50,000, another at $70,000, and a square baler at $200,000,” Allan said.
Greg Short, Factory Manager, Gyral Implements, Toowoomba, received a lot of genuine inquiry for the single axle STR Air Seeder that he believed would equate into sales further down the track.
Moore Trailers, Pittsworth reports that the Heritage Ag Show is the best field day on the circuit and was surprised by the level of interest particularly in the AB Triple road train on display that had been sold to a contractor at Dalby for $240,000.
Andrew Jefferies, Eastern Sales Manager, Rhino Tanks and Liners, Deniliquin, NSW said the inquiry received at the Heritage Ag Show was positive and he had sold 15 tanks onsite.
Ray Beavis, General Manager, Monsoon Irrigators Australia, reported business was buoyant at the Heritage Ag Show. He said he had fielded inquiry from as far as Murgon, Gayndah, Gatton, and locally on the Darling Downs, and while rain had given optimism, water was still a big issue with farmers, was expecting to finish with six definite sales.
Russell Burchmann, Sales Manager, David Evans Group, Toowoomba, said inquiry was genuine, and he was expecting plenty of sales over the next 12 months as a result of the interest received.
Craig Hartley, principal of Dalby Moto said the response was sensational due to many reasons, including a great summer crop and a very promising winter crop farmers were expecting.
